Spice in the Community: Lyons Outdoor Games

Every year, Coloradoans and outdoor enthusiasts gather for the Lyons Outdoor Games, which started as a fundraiser for the Lyons Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Events 11 years ago. The event features all manner of outdoor sports, from kayaking to biking and fly fishing and oodles of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy as well as Oskar Blues’ “Burning Can Beer Fest.” The event runs from June 8th to June 10th and with a full weekend of fun, activities and exhibitions put on by world-class athletes, there’s usually quite the mess when Sunday rolls around. That’s why A Spice of Life Catering + Events is partnering with Leave No Trace to host the Sunday morning River Clean Up and Volunteer Breakfast for the 6th year. Of course, A Spice of Life will be maintaining the Eco-Cycle Zero-Waste standards that are in play for every event we cater for this breakfast. Please join us for a great breakfast and a great opportunity to give back to such a vibrant community after enjoying all that the Outdoors Games have to offer. The clean up starts at 9am at Bohn Park, please join us and enjoy a fantastic meal provided by Spice as a reward for your hard work!
