16 Mar A Spice of Life to Sponsor 15th “Empty Bowls” Fundraiser – Lots and Lots of Soup!

Once a year, Longmont’s OUR Centerholds an event titled Empty Bowls where philanthropy, community, and food intersect. This year’s will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Longmont High School. The Community Cafe & Community Market feed “over 16,000 households every year” and play a large role in helping folks shift their lives toward a more self-sufficient path by providing mentor-ship and meals.

Empty Bowls has become the signature fundraising event for the Longmont residence and is expanding each year. A Spice of Life is delighted and honored to be able to support such a meaningful event by supplying the soup which will fill the bowls of attendees.

Doors open at 10:30am for bowl selection and silent auction bidding.  A Spice of Life will be ladling out chicken tortilla soup from 11am-1pm. Come get your chicken tortilla soup for the soul on with us!

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event.  Visit OUR Center at 220 Collyer St., Longmont, weekdays 8-5.
